Pizza Lunch

A reminder that pizza order forms are due by May 31st.

Steps:
Practice the steps we have been using in class to solve long division questions.

#1 Draw as many equal groups as you can without going over the total
#2 Circle as many equal groups as you can
#3 Write how many you used from the total to make the equal groups
#4 Subtract the original total from the new total
#5 Write the remainder

Reminders

There is no school tomorrow on Friday, May 20th as it is a Professional Development Day.

Pow-wow Invitation 


This event will be taking place tonight at Crescent Heights High School School 1019 - 1st. NW. Bring your families and come out to enjoy a traditional pow-wow, celebrating and honoring the success of ALL learners in CBE. The grand entry begins at 6:00pm and a feast will be served between 6:00-8:00pm.

The Kindergarten Assembly will be tomorrow on Thursday, May19th at 11:00am.  Everyone is welcome!

Important Notice

Students ages 9-12 will be bringing home information about the Community Kids In Motion YMCA Program Summer.

The program is offered to children ages 9-12 and will from 9:00am to 3:30pm on Monday and Wednesday for 4 weeks beginning on July 8th or August 3rd.

Kids in Motion is a free summer program that provides the chance for children to connect with their local community through service learning initiatives which in turn they are later rewarded for with recreational opportunities.  Through this 'work for leisure' program the participants volunteer at local businesses in the morning and in the afternoon they will celebrate the work they have done by participating in leisure activity.

The application deadline is Friday, June 17.  Please return the forms to Vista Heights School or fax to (403)508-2629.
